Technical Architect – Data and AI

Location – Hyderabad or Bangalore

Job/Role Description:

• Experience – 12 to 15 Years
• Strong background in data engineering and cloud-based data warehousing solutions.
• Deep expertise in Matillion and Snowflake, and be responsible for designing, implementing, and optimizing data architecture solutions that meet our clients’ business needs.
• Design and architect end-to-end data solutions using Matillion ETL and Snowflake as the primary data warehouse.
• Develop scalable, high-performance data models that support complex analytical requirements.
  Oversee the implementation of data pipelines, ETL processes, and data integration workflows using Matillion.
• Define and enforce best practices for data architecture, data governance, and data security within the Snowflake environment.
• Collaborate with stakeholders, including data engineers, data scientists, and business analysts, to gather requirements and translate them into technical specifications.
• Mentor and guide development teams in implementing the designed solutions, ensuring alignment with architectural standards.
• Act as a subject matter expert on Matillion and Snowflake, offering guidance on their effective use.
• Monitor and optimize the performance of the Snowflake data warehouse and Matillion ETL processes.
• Implement data partitioning, clustering, and indexing strategies to improve query performance.
• Troubleshoot and resolve performance issues, ensuring system stability and responsiveness.

 Primary Skills (Must have):

• Extensive experience with Matillion ETL and Snowflake, including hands-on experience with data pipeline development, transformation logic, and job orchestration.
• Strong understanding of cloud-based data warehousing principles, especially within the Snowflake environment.
• Proficiency in SQL, and familiarity with other relevant technologies like Python or JavaScript for ETL scripting.
• Experience with data modelling, schema design, and data warehouse optimization techniques.
