This opportunity has only expanded multi-fold with the advent of GenerativeAI.

Currently, WinWire is looking for Senior Director – Pre-sales – Cloud Solutions to work as a Senior Pre-Sales Cloud Solution Consultant and Architect focusing on Microsoft Azure based application development and solutions. This role is uniquely positioned for driving business growth by being part of a highly energetic team focusing on winning business and acquiring new customers for WinWire.

Key Responsibilities and Expectations from this role:

As a senior Pre-Sales team member, this role will be focusing on providing technical expertise as part of the core New Business Development (NBD) team and will work closely with several NBD team members based across WinWire US offices. On a day-to-day basis, the role will work closely with WinWire’s CTO organization, members of other presales teams, the internal bid management team and several WinWire’s Executive leaders.

The expected involvement for this role will be in the entire sales cycle from leads qualification to opportunities closure by providing technical leadership throughout the sales cycle. Key focus will be on deep-dive technical discussions with prospective customers, demonstrating thought leadership for scalable and secure cloud solutions, delivering presentation of WinWire’s solution offerings, and be responsible for detailed technical solution design at every stage of any lead or opportunity. The measure of success for this role is to provide high-quality deliverables at every stage of involvement which will maximize WinWire’s chances of winning the prospective deal.

Must-Haves Qualifications for this role

  1. Minimum of 18 years of experience in Cloud based solutions and Custom Applications Development, with at least 7 years in a pre-sales technical architect role.
  2. Proven experience in senior pre-sales technical role and leading large-scale cloud-based application solutions for customers at a medium to large size Systems Integrator
  3. Deep technical knowledge in and demonstrated hands-on experience using Microsoft Azure, GenAI, and other app development technologies
  4. Demonstrated ability to work closely with Sales team to drive new logo growth, engage in early-stage lead qualification through sales cycle and help qualify them to opportunities.
  5. Exceptional relationship building and management skills to deliver superior technical thought leadership for internal and external stakeholders.

Technical Skills for this role

  1. Hands-on experience designing cloud-native solutions including microservices, serverless computing, API Management platforms, Kubernetes and other containerization platforms
  2. Deep understanding of cloud native design patterns, DevSecOps, Security, Infrastructure and database technologies
  3. Experience with integration architectures and patterns with system of records and enterprise cloud platforms
  4. Experience with migrating and modernizing workloads to Microsoft Azure
  5. Understanding of hybrid/multi-cloud strategies, approaches, and tooling
  6. Experience using cloud cost calculators and build cost estimates
  7. Experience with leveraging Generative AI and Azure OpenAI across Cloud Solutions
  8. Knowledge of compliance and security standards relevant to cloud solutions
